USAW RenewalsIt’s that time of year again to renew your USAW membership (Athlete, Coach, Official and Club). USAW’s current membership year runs from 9/1/17 to 8/31/18. To renew your membership, go to:

General Fall Tournament Info

  • Registration Fee:
  • Online $25 (Registration/Payment completed 100% Online)
  • Onsite $25 + $10 fee = $35
  • SAVE MONEY AND TIME BY REGISTERING ONLINE AT WWW.TRACKWRESTLING.COM AND SEARCH FOR “MSWA”

 

 

  • Weigh Ins: 830am-9am
  • Technique/Rules Clinic: 9-10am (may vary by location)
  • Wrestling Begins: 10am-Conclusion

 

AGE GROUPS

KIDS

  • Born in 2004 through 2011
  • We will try to keep kids within 1 year of age when pairing

CADETS

  • Born in 2002 or 2003
  • Cadets and Juniors may be combined depending on the number of entries

JUNIORS

  • Born on or after September 1, 1998 and enrolled in High School 2017-18
  • Cadets and Juniors may be combined depending on the number of entries

OPEN

  • Post High School
  • REQUIRES $50 USAW OPEN LICENSE MEMBERSHIP IF BORN BEFORE 9/1/1998

 

RULES

  • Modified National High School Federation (NHSF); double-elimination
  • Depending on turnout, some weights may be full round-robin
  • MSWA Pairing system will be used, opponents will be determined by blind draw
  • Period Length 2-1-1
  • Singlets are preferred but not required. Headgear is mandatory for ALL.
  • Medals to top three in each weight
  • Food and drinks will be available on site
  • Minimal entrance fee charged at each event by host school to help them raise money for their programs
